This is like the easiest summertime salad you could make. I think it may be even easier to make than a green salad. If you like corn on the cob and you don’t like it in your teeth, than make this salad. Riley had the brilliant idea of adding grape tomatoes from our garden. Just cut them in half and toss them in. Thank you again Ina for another “How easy is that?” recipe. Seriously, she says this on just about every one of her shows. Enough already.

I’m loving this right now…….photo booth on Mac.
This application on the MacBook (and probably all Macs) is hilarious. Riley loves playing with it. You can manipulate and take pics with different effects (as seen below). And the movie camera feature is quite entertaining too when you use the effects. Check it out…..
What’s up with Ken?
A while back I made a little trek to Toys R Us with the kiddies. As Riley and I were perusing the shelves we made our way into Barbie land. Basically two long aisles filled with everything Barbie. Holy pink crap everywhere. But I noticed Ken peering out from his plastic box. There were only a handful of Kens but I photographed each one. Each sad one. I remember when Ken had plastic hair and zero personality. He was simply Barbie’s arm candy. Handsome, and quiet with that everlasting smile and six-pack abs. What the hell happened to Ken?
Kid Review: Moon Dough
In a word, Moon Dough is weird. I can’t quite describe the texture of it. It’s foamy, soft, breaks apart easily and therefore is scattered randomly around my house. Although I have restricted its use to the basement only, it almost always finds its way up my carpeted stairs and onto my jute living room rug. It does like to stay in the rug and you really gotta work at vacuuming it up. I should also mention it has a distinct plastic smell. At least that’s the best I can describe it. Riley loves it though. She has the barn and farm animals set and I will admit it is a bit fun to make the animals. The instructions are a bit crazy though. I remember reading that you should wash your hands after using it and not let it get wet with soap or water. Kinda strange. I will say it doesn’t dry out like play dough but that doesn’t mean I’m not sweeping it up constantly and tossing it in the garbage. Hair, dirt, and everything else gets imbedded in it, just like play dough. Fun for the kiddies but not so fun to clean up. We give Moon Dough……..
